The sultry siren is reported to have signed a $4 million deal with Tom’s company to star in Tom’s forthcoming flick called ‘The Eye’. The Eye is said to be a Hollywood remake of the 2002 Hong Kong film Jian Gui, in which the protagonist, i.e Alba, receives an eye transplant which allows her to see into the supernatural world.

2007 will certainly be a busy year for Alba, considering she already has her kitty full with sequels to Sin City and Fantastic Four. Along with these, her new thriller, Awake, which sees her star alongside Hayden Christensen will also be released this year.

It is also reported that Cruise, will play a doctor in the horror flick and take a lead role opposite Alba, like he has done a number of his productions including the Mission Impossible series, War of the Worlds and Minority Report.

The sexy brunette Jessica Alba was caught feeding a group of penguins on the sets of her new movie “Good Luch Chuck” in Edmonton, Canada. Alba is starring opposite Dane Cook in the upcoming romantic comedy.It may be recalled that Alba lost one tooth and chipped another while shooting a love scene with Cook for the same film. Alba later said that “We did all of our love scenes in one day and I chipped a tooth and I lost a tooth, isn’t that disgusting? We’re smashing our faces together, it’s not the slowest, most romantic love scene”, hence the dental issues.

Jessica Alba recently made some promises on MTV about what her fans can expect from her upcoming movie “Fantastic Four 2”. She promises a new villain, more action and a better movie.

She promises a better movie to her fans who were disappointed with the first film. She said, “We’re making the right changes.It’s gonna be an amped-up version, this next one. It’s gonna be faster, and it’s gonna be a more intense story line that kind of references the comic a bit more”.

She added, “Maybe the Fantastic Car, which I’m excited about.”

You all know our beauty star Jessica Alba will star in the upcoming Romantic comedy “Good Luck Chuck” produced by Lionsgate and directed by Mark Helfrich. It will come to theatres in 2007. Also starring are Dane Cook [fame of “Saturday Night Live”) and Dan Fogler (fame of “Bust a Move” and “Slippery Slope”). Already the film got reviews as another nice movie to watch with your girlfriend.

Here is the synopsis of the movie:

The film starts when Charlie Kagan was ten years old. Charlie refuses to lip-lock with a demented Goth girl. She puts a hex on him. After twenty-five years, Charlie (Dane Cook) turns out as a successful dentist. Now also Charlie can’t find the right girl. Though he enjoys sex with many, he searches for the ‘true love’.

Later he meets an accident-prone penguin specialist Cam (Jessica Alba). He finds the ‘true lover’ he is searching for in Cam. The rest of the movie is all about how he wins the love of Cam. Wait for the arrival of the movie to know how he wins.

Here’s another twist in the sequel to Fantastic Four. And this time again the person out with the details is none other than the Latino beauty JESSICA ALBA alias SUE STORM (The Invisible Woman). And once again in picture is our new hero (or villain to be precise).

Jessica says that in Fantastic Four 2 Sue will find herself in the web of love. To get deeper into the details it’s gonna be a love triangle as Silver Surfer is the dream boy.

Initially many thought that NAMOR would be the one involved with Sue, but apparently all these presumptions proved to be wrong. “He’s a little good and a little bad. So it’s just a matter of, ‘What does Sue Storm bring - the good or the bad - out of that boy?’” was what Alba said.

Aside from bringing more excitement about the character of Surfer, his appearance indicates a Galactic film on the horizon, most probably in the form of Fantastic Four 3.

As the early reports stated, the sequel is not going to be named “The Next Chapter”. The film is going to have a flashier title.

A rumor was roaming around the web that Vin Diesel will be the ‘Silver Surfer’ in the forthcoming Jessica Alba’s movie “Fantastic Four 2”. But the Industry says that it is completely ‘wrong’.

I think you remember Jessica Alba confirming before few months that the Silver Surfer will also have a role in “Fantastic Four 2″. The shooting of the new “Fantastic Four” movie will start in August and is supposed to hit the theatres in June, 2007.

Jessica Alba said, “In the ‘Fantastic Four’ all of us learn that there are many people out there with superpowers. Among us, the Silver Surfer appears both as a villain and hero. And, there is another villain also. My character, Susan Storm, will have another love triangle and uses a power many haven’t seen before. She’s going to be the most powerful among the four.”

So wait till next year June to see the ‘power’ in Alba.

Jessica Alba has signed on to star in the comedy/drama, “Bill” for Green Street Films. She along with Elizabeth Banks are the newly included stars in the cast. The story goes this way ………………..
In the film, Aaron Eckhart plays the title character who is fed up with his job, his wife (Banks) and his life. He finds himself the reluctant mentor of an unruly teenager and his life hits an all-time low when he catches his wife having an affair. But with the help of Lucy (Alba), an intriguing saleswoman, he regains his lost sense of self.

Lindsay Lohan, who was attached to play the unruly teen, recently dropped out of the film rumored to be because the director was not a big enough name. Bill is directed by Bernie Goldman and written by his wife, Melisa Wallack.

Jessica Alba has revealed some of the details about her forthcoming movie “Fantastic Four-2” to the press and USA Today. She says that the making of the film will start in August. The four superheroes learn that there are other people also with superpowers.

As was told by Alba there may be an introduction of some more characters. The “Silver Surfer” comes in as either a hero or villain. According to Fantastic Four comics’ series, The Surfer was originally Norrin Radd, a young astronomer of the planet Zenn-La. He agreed to serve as a herald for the alien Galactus to save Zenn-La from the planet-consuming super being.

Galactus granted Norrin Radd enormous cosmic powers, a silvery appearance and a surfboard-like vehicle, all of which were modeled after a childhood fantasy of Radd’s. Thereafter, he roamed the cosmos, searching for new planets for Galactus to consume until, after an encounter with Earth’s Fantastic Four, he betrayed Galactus, who doomed the Surfer to exile on Earth.

This also leads to the creation of a new villain “Galactus”. Jessica also says that she would be involved in another love triangle and that she would be using a power people haven’t seen before. : “My character, Susan Storm, has another love triangle and may use a power people haven’t seen before. She’s the most powerful of the four.” Says Jessica.

This comment would also lead to the addition of Namor: The Sub-Mariner as a hero/villain. . This character once fell in love with Sue Storm in the comics, asking her to become his bride.

Now the revelation of these facts brings about a debate. At the first place it was Alba who said that she would not do any sequels. And the other thing is why unnecessarily give new powers to the character (Susan storm) and mess about with decades of comic book.

Anyway it’ll be a long wait to see how the movie actually goes and whether Jessica will be able to rework the magic.
